find ,found 與 founded 長的非常像，但意思差了十萬八千里，要怎麼分辨呢？

find (V) 為　找到，尋得；發現；碰上　之意

ex: To win the game , you have to find the rule fisrt.

動詞三態為 find - found - found

有沒有發現什麼關鍵的事情？沒錯！found就是find的過去式跟過去分詞

但如果found作為現在式動詞則有其他意思唷

found (V) 為　建立；建造　之意

ex: His theory is founded on facts 

動詞三態為 found - founded - founded

從上面看來～found如果要作為動詞的話，不是作為過去式的動詞-尋找，就是作為現在式的-創建

所以文章的時間點對於文意的理解是非常重要的

而founded，如果不是過去式，就是過去分詞衍生而來的形容詞，就是「有基礎的」這個意思

ex: We must respond to well-founded criticism with a willingness to change.

另外，foundation , founder , unfounded等等變形而來的單字，都已經跟find(尋找)無關，都是found(創建)衍伸而來的單字
